My delicate glutiusmaximus has been supported by tortionbar Bostrum seats since 1966, and I have yet to find a superior seat.
I have a couple spares, easy to come by in truck wrecking yards a few years back, just in case the ones in my M-37 or 66 Chevy ever need replacing. Covers were still available from Bostrum a few years ago.
If yo absolutely must go air ride, just use a bicycle pump, there is no reason to overengineer the seat unless you want to.
