so when going from the 6 volt generator to a 12.. do you stay with the positive (battery) ground? I am going to swap over to 12 volt. going to get the generator and regulator from a 60's truck. because I want it look stock. but I am putting in a radio.. and and a dump bed. and all the dump beds use a 12 volt pump, negative ground. so I don't know how to proceed. will the pump still work with the positive ground or do I have to switch every thing around?
