I have rebuilt the knuckles on all my trucks.
In all cases the bottom bearing/race was seriously worn as well as the top bushing. Rebuilding the knuckle with a new bottom bearing/race and changing to top bushing to a bearing made the truck more stable, no wander and easier steering.
