It a sad day when a man has to sell tools.
Of course its a happy day for the guy who's buying them though usually.
Better to see them sold by the guy that bought and used them than to see them rust because they belonged to Dad or somesuch thing and they become useless to all except the junkman.
I don't dwell on it much, but I'm sure that my wife doesn't have an idea what any of my hard worked for and treasured and sometimes obscure bits and ends are used for or are worth.
I would like to think that my son would be able to put them to use, but by the time he has the inclination, interest or enough time on his hands, I will likely be taking, as they say in the venacular, the "long dirt nap".
And so I have decided in all the infinite wisdom that has been afforded to me to leave these things to my nephew who has similar interests to my own.
Ahh, youth! Where have thou fled to?
