Even with the headrack that far back I guarandamntee that rig had a boomcrutch to get the frame up. I sure do hope that righ had front spring lockouts.
I'd also bet there is a second handcranked winch on the back end to operate the A frame.
Oddly, I still get a smile on my face remembering those days of joy & happiness, even though I wouldn't do it again for any amount of money.
