What get's me is that the part that's flooding is about 20' to 30' ABOVE the main North Branch, so the flood is being caused on purpose. I know that area VERY well. There's a waterfall where the two meet at River Park.
Oh, I also have a dehumidifier that normally pulls 5 gal a day outa the air. It's been doin double duty lately. HA!

PS: Just heard on the news they shut down Des Plaines again for flooding.
