I'd say the 10 3/8 will work.

One thing I did wrong was to weld the side/angle strips together at their joints. Made the sides to rigid to torture into alignment with the crosssmembers. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Didn't realize it wasn't until the sides were all painted.
