The only thing I can say is if you get too crazy with your frame up resto, having to get into every nook and crany, you'll be burnt out before you ever get to the end of the project. It's nice to be very particular about everything but reality always comes knocking. You can just squirt some motor oil into those hard to get areas and voila, no more rust. Just my O2.
