Woods truck any ideas?

I have been thinking about building a woods truck. I have a Power Wagon with a shortened frame, 102" wb. I have a 41, WC-4 open cab cab, a good running 230, crash box, np-200. Good braden winch front and rear. Also a factory stakebody frame (Ford), which would get shrunken to 5' x 5'. Either 1/2 ton front clip or Power Wagon, I have both.
Question; does a 1/2 ton have a tighter turning radius than a PW? Should I go with PW axles or 1/2 ton axles? Maybe 1/2 ton axles woth 900-16s for additional clearance. The lower PW gearing would be a plus.
This would definately be a heinze 57 truck, a bit of this and a bit of that and very low budget!
