Check out what Gino's Garage has on their website. They sell for less than $70 a lift pump relocation kit that involves a new lift pump moved to the frame rail, where there will be less damaging vibration.
I already had the Dodge "fix" where they moved my lift pump to the fuel tank, but the in tank pump cannot supply an adequate psi of fuel to the injector pump which is a worry on 2nd gen trucks.
I decided to get an auxillary lift pump from Summitt racing (made by BD diesel) that went on the frame rail. It gives me 16 psi now at the injection pump, and is significantly cheaper than a Fass unit. However as Marty says the Fass is a good unit, especially for engines that have been tweaked to higher horsepower.
