I'm running two fivers on an oversize aluminum plate. Leave room to mount a flasher too. And stamp labeling into the aluminum. Then rub some black lacquer into the stamping. One fiver is keyed, the other is direct to battery. It looks 'period'.
Also wire in a Radio Shack 12v buzzer into the flasher circuit so maybe you can hear that you have your blinkers on...
