One that got me on my '65 D200 was that the headlights are grounded to the headlight trim rings which are only grounded to the frame via the pointy ends of sheet metal screws. I suppose if you drive it regularly, the vibration keeps the rust rubbed off, but starting up a truck that's sat for years, that had me puzzled for a while. Doesn't seem like a very smart design, even it it did save on wire.
