I have owned two Cummins equipped trucks. A 2002 3500 HO 6spd regular cab and a 2006 Mega Cab 3500 with automatic Trans. Both trucks were completely trouble free and very easy to maintain. Count on spending close to a $100.00 to change oil, oil filter, fuel filter. Both trucks could comfortably pull any weight you could hook up to it. I have also owned Ford 3500 Power Stroke and it is not nearly as good a truck as the Dodge. I prefer the 2006 as a keeper. It is quieter and more comfortable.
Go with a diesel you wont regret it.Resale is also alot better with the diesels.
