Suburban is a term used by Chevy and sometimes GMC. Dodge used the name Carryall for the military trucks like this one.

WOJ, couldn't find a reference to Suburban by GM prior to WWII. But did find Carryall was first used by Chevy. Brian in Oregon 00:10:32 08/24/00 (1)
