If your truck is an old style PW, there are rubber gromets that go in the floor cover for the brake and clutch pedals to prevent rattling, your missing yours. Roberts has them for around $10 a pair. Next time your four wheeling and your engine does it racing thing, stop, open the hood and try to find the problem. You probably have a tight connection on the linkage (pedal), causing it to bind and lock.
