I just traded a 1993 W-350(4x4) with 80000 miles.
It was a loaded extended cab with a cap.
Kelly blue book was about 7000 for a trade-in value.
I got 11000 in cash from a dealer that I didn't buy a truck from.
I traded on a 1998 quad cab 2500 24v.
The reason I did was that we could not stand the
noise and ride from the dually workhorse anymore.
Had a true kelderman mfg air ride in place, and
would not condsider another dually without it (see link).
Also, the tire cost & maintenance was expensive on this model.
If you can look around some, you can find a 1994 with as high miles for very close to the same price, and get a very much more tolerable ride/fit/finish.
If you intend to work the truck every day (and I mean with 1/2 or more load capacity, then the truck would probably be tolerable.
Hope it helps.
