1)Look at the underside of the third member, there is a flat rectangular area with the ratio stamped there. It may take some scraping.
2)Mark the tire & driveshaft, move the truck one revolution counting driveshaft turns.
3)If wheels are original large lockrings usually denote 9.00x16 tires = 5.83. Small lockrings were spec for 7.50x16 tires, more commonly found with 4.89's
