I'm building headers for my 230, and an intake.
Initial plan was to use the old B&B carb. Turns out it IS too small. Full throttle, at high revs, and it makes 1 1/2 inches of vacuum.
So, I've got to make an adapter for my nearly-equal-length mandrel-bends intake to take a 2bbl Carter from a 318. And it will use the stock linkage as much as possible.
Anyhow, there WOULD be gains in gross horse power with the dual carb intakes.
My E-7 B&B has only a 1 1/4 throat, that is smaller than even a single intake port.
