Tim we have a lot of low water crossings for places like yours in more rural surrondings it is usually concrete with a couple of spillways on top that you can drive over
that is built along the contures of the stream bed. you can use it except during times lke you are having now and it is generally self cleaning and a good way to make sure your 4wd works.
