Hi Terry,
Sunday afternoon I spent a couple of hours clearing them out by hand, got the culvert totally clear. By monday morning there were 4 times more cattail clumps back at the mouth of the culvert. Way more than I feel like doing by hand.
The only thing that I have found to discourage beavers is sudden lead poisoning.
I havent forgotten your door lock, I have a nice one on the bench, waiting for me to remember to bring it up to the house to wrap up for you.
