62 Power Wagon question

I just brought home the first of 3 Power Wagons I recently purchased. It is a 62, with a 251 engine. It has the correct 251 radiator, but the grille is not pushed forward. I thought that all factory 251 trucks had the grille extended forward, is this not the case?
It was dark and raining when I got home, pics to follow.
