You're probably right. WIX is the listed "manufacturer", they supply all NAPA and most other filters, I guess we need to call them suppliers now, if all the actual manufacturing is taking place overseas.
I picked up a set of motor mounts yesterday, the NAPA box said NAPA USA,..."country of origin listed on the part inside". A little sticker on the bottom of the part said 'Made in India'.
Not as bad as china but still irritating. I long for the good ol days when you could get quality...Japanese Parts....= )
