Yeah but it still took the Brits to figure to land it on carrier decks at an angle so they could see what they were doin. Just like it took the Brits to pop that Merlin engine into the Mustang & also add that extra angle deck on carriers. Oh, they also went with armor plate under the decks for better protection, Something we & the Japanese didn't care to do as life was/is so cheap....
