Interesting. The ring has 44 teeth and pinion has 9 teeth. I think the pinion takes 4.888 turns to spin the ring once on a 4.89 set. How are you computing the effect the side/spider gears have on axle rotation when rotating the differential case to determine if 2.5 times is correct for 4.89 gearing?
