That one uses an exterior ground, the s&i ones have an internal ground. The 'I' terminal is hot output, only when the starter is engaged.
The external ground type are usually used with w neutral safety switch as the ground. AMC used that system, physically locating the solenoid between the battery and the starter. Later Mopars too, but they called their solenoid a "starter relay", and mounted it between the starter and the tranny.
