from dave email hanock is missing a c the filter does not like the name
I live in West Brookfield Ma. My plan is to drive to Ken's place at Olean St. (near Tatnuck sq,) Worcester Ma. on Friday morning. Can you be in Worc around 10am on Friday? We wont be in a hurry but it would be fun to get there early. Then I will take Ken's M37 to Hanock NH. to meet up with Ken. If you can meet up with me at Olean St. then we can travel together to Hanock Nh. Once I or we meet up with Ken we will travel together to Cavendish VT.
The Worcester to Hanock leg will be Olean st to rt31 to 122A to rt68 to Gardner Ma to rt140 to Winchendon ma, Jaffrey nh, to Hanock.
The Hanock to Cavendish route will be rural roads heading NW from Hanock.
I estimated the travel distances and times for the trip. For your trip to Worc. Rehoboth to Worc is about 51mi (1hr20min) From Worc to Hanock is 58mi (1hr45min). Hanock to Cavendish (58mi (1hr36min). total distance for you is 167 miles. There are no limited access roads on my plan except you may be on 146 for a few miles. I'll let you plan that out. I am trying to stay on rural roads and keep our speed below 50.
Ken will be in Merideth Nh from 7-19 thru 7-25. Ken will travel from Meridith to Hanock (82mi1hr45min) to meet up with me or us. However, Hanock is 1 hour out of Ken's way. Merideth to Cavendish is only 91mi (2hr15min). I think if we are all running well we should all just head for Cavendish. If anyone is having trouble we should all meet in Hanock.
I used http://maps.google.com/ Click on Get Directions and type in the towns and states and the route will appear. You can drag the route line to change the route. Something I dont like about Googlemaps is the printing. I cant seem to get it to print the map with much detail.
If you trailer your rig will you still want to drive with us or will you go a different way? There is safety in numbers.
Ken, should I shut up now?
Talk later Dave
