I can't quite buy the maintainence arguement. Most fire trucks suffer from sitting still more than they suffer from use and abuse on the job.
The wonderful thing about being a volunteer, - you can un-volunteer.
Brent and the gang are starting to do the right thing, sure they can raise he-- with the NDF, but start to buck up and get you own equipment that the NDF cannot touch.
