Note from John:

I drove a Power Wagon for two years in Libyan
desert when I worked for an oil exploration company in the 1960's. It had a
cabin on the back for the instruments and an extra fuel tank just in front
of the cabin. It was used over rough terrain including sand dunes and never
gave any trouble. I used the winch many times to help other trucks stuck in
the sand. It had large sand tyres. A great vehicle,
