I'm an Eastern Oregonian, we live in farm fire, kowboy urban areas that often burn off with fury...
Umatilla Fire hits up the Fed and State surplus house in Salem, both on.line and in.person as often as we can.
Rolling stock, equipment, "stuff" for pennies on the sheckle, or often less.
Surplus gear is often rode hard, left to shrink in dryer, but servicable.
We used quite a bit of it to build brush sleds and rescue rides.
Don't go without protecting your district due some political hack and some bad attitudes..
