Who really owned and purchased the equipment to begin with ??? If it was given to the community by the State (The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away) such as the Fed's have it within their power to take back equipment. If it was purchased by the city or county to begin with, then I see a big problem.
If it was given by the State to the local Fire Dist, what paperwork was signed ???
