I wouldn't get too excited about it. As I understand it, DC is still allowed to require all guns to be registered, to ban semi-automatic pistols, and to prohibit carrying outside the home. The only different is now Mr. Heller can have some sort of pistol (probably a revolver) in his home. It's not like the did away with the Gun Control Act or the National Firearms Act.
