A V-8 with the manifolds flipped over. Might breathe better, but two short stacks on a tired, back firing engine seemed like fun!
I wonder if revving it. shutting off the key, then turning it back on would make twin rings of fire?
Maybe add an oil injector to make it smoke like a locomotive?
