Hey John. I think we all have eaten a little crow. I've had more than my share. I have finally learned that it sometimes helps to ask a question, rather than to make a statement, even if I think I'm absolutely right.
Anyway, depending on where you live, what you are looking for might be available to you. I bought my pto from a guy in Pennsylvania. It came off a W500 with a front winch. I do not know if the winch and bumper are still on the truck or not. I never asked, because I didn't need them. If you want to try and call the guy, I can provide you with his name and number. Shipping could be a bit heavy. The pto and adapter cost me around $100.
I am using an MU3 winch. I "think" the correct winch is an MU2. I also think the main difference in the MU2 and the MU3 is the angles on the face of the mounting brackets. Maybe someone else will chime in here.
I honestly think the LU2 and the straight bumper with the steps in it would look great on the 500, but I am happy with Marty's "reproduction". JH
