Out of the shadows pops Ugg. Yes, I still lurk & have emailed folk from time to time. No, I haven't gotten rid of the Beast (ultimate LAST resort), & No, we haven't lost Uggville yet. Somehow, we've managed to keep the wolves from the door & keep the door too, & No, I'm not asking for hand-outs either.
The help I am asking for is for those of you that live in or near the Chicago Metro Area. I have been working with a local town near to me that has an airshow. My thoughts are, what better to work in conjunction with an airshow (that's primary interest is WW II warbirds) is to have a MV (military vehicle) show?
This is a small, one day event. The show is from 10 AM until 5 PM on Sept. 6th of this year. What I need is people in this area to BRING their MV's to this show. If ya bring an MV & are a vendor too, that's okay, vend away.
I NEED COMMITMENT! If interested and can help me out, please email me as soon as possible & I will fill in the details & location. What I NEED to do is to demonstrate to this town that there are in fact the MV's out there, and that the general public WILL also be interested. The real goal is to organize for a real, bigger show for 2009.
