Agreed,,,, It was the union power (disaster) in BC that prevented a mechanics union in the east. BC is a strong union province. The Alberta Govt.(Conservative by the way, NOT liberal. liberals are out in Ontario with Copey helping to ruin the economy LOL) has been called a lot of names but has kept the unions at bay, quickly passing bills to order people back to work. They just passed one that will not allow essencial services to strike. Like you say it is mostly the teachers, postal wokers, transit people & other govt. employees. I think unions had their place in the mining, forestry & other dangerous occupations. GB
