the little town i do bussines in depends largly on the tourist trade to make or break its finnacial year > the majority of torists are Americans who travel by boat from lake ontario up the trent severn water way> this time of year theres generaly no spots at the dock in town to tie up a boat> this year only one boat has made in to town to tie up the dock site is desserted > this is due to the high fuel costs also the canadian dollar is near on parr with the U S dollar > this lack of tourisim will kill off many small bussines that have depended on that income for many decades this is only the begining of whats to come if theres no relief on high fuel costs ~ j
