When I went digging through my literature to find the proof that you said would be in there, I found the words Power Giant used all over the place. The ads talk about Power Giant engines (the 318 V8) in the early 60s, and then once again as the big International V8s in the later 60s, and in lots of other ways.

Older phrases come into play as well, the older Job Rated tag line is used into the 60s, even though that was originally used in the 30s I think.

As with any company, everything old is new again if it sells product.

I will still call the 1957-60 era the Power Giant era, but I am aware that Dodge most likely would not have called it that. Plus if Dodge did define the Power Giant era it might be 1958-63 or something, and it would be something different down under.

As I said in the first place, calling things by era Power Giant, Pilot House, Sweptline, FFPW, etc are useful things for collectors, but Dodge was not thinking in those terms, and the literature therefore does not reflect our added interpretation.
