I got home tonight around 6 PM from a very good rally in Fairfield. Yes it was wet and yes we had a storm on Thursday night but that did not prevent us from having a good time. Friday turned into a nice day as did Saturday especially for the parade. For those who could not attend you missed a very good talk by our own Gordon Maney on Saturday night. A huge thanks goes out to the organizers of this rally which are not limited to but include John Torpy and Bob Jones. Everyone pitched in to do what was needed to make this years rally a success. Plans are in the works for next years rally June 10-13, 2009. For those who think it's to far to drive, a group came from Salt Lake City ,Utah and another from British Columbia, Canada. It's the trucks that bring us together but it's the people we go to see at the rally that makes it really worth the trip.
