The Series, or 'Letter' designation pertains to each model year changes, but not specifically to the model year.
Dodge often made changes as they felt like it. Hence there are actually two Sweptline models for 1965, which is simplified by most and are called 1965 and 1965.5.
Each factory service manual is series specific, regardless of year, so it's not often you will find a Sweptline Series FSM with a model year on it.
