This truck was one of the 411 trucks built in San Leandro, CA
Mileage reads; 58912 (unverified)
Red with tan interior
The good points:
* Bench Seat and belts (3ea) new, Seat frame was meticulously rebuilt and solid.
* Tires (5ea) new one year ago, 9:00-16 LT. Rims were all blasted inspected and painted Replaced as needed, new flaps installed
* Winch rebuilt and new 7/16 cable installed. 200ft. (Braden MU2 PTO driven)
* Brakes and parking brake redone, work great
* Front differential rebuilt (both 5.83)
* Engine starts and runs good
* Stock except 12 volt system.
* New battery and cables
* Gear running gear runs strong.
* Heater completely restored with new two speed motor. (not installed yet)
* Nice driving example of the majestic Power Wagon. Restore or just enjoy driving this original ‘48’
* Minimal rust other then mentioned
* Lots of spare parts included.
Needs attention:
* Cosmetic body work
* Some rust in right hand cab behind seat.
* Small crack in weld left side of cabin at panel attachment
* Bed forward panel and right hand wheel well panel need replacement,(new parts included).
* Both door glass and mechanics need rework.
* Engine smokes a bit at start up
* TLC needed in various areas
* Fuel tank has a dent in it
* Non stock cross frame members….but very strong and well done
