The power wagon differential may attach a little differently from the Route Van differential, but I'm not a power wagon expert. The Route Van does not have a solid rear axle, rather there are four u-joints between the two rear wheels, one next to the wheel and one next to the differential on each side. The differential is held to the frame via two C-beam rails which run front-to-back, with the driveaxles passing through them. The c-beams are anchored to two cross-beams that run between the two rails of the chassis.
The 8 bolts I'm referring to are as follows:
4 of the bolts go upwards through the bottom flange of the C-beam and into the differential housing, and are standard bolts. Two on each side, all go upwards. Of these, one is broken off, one has bad threads (both on the driver's side). The two bolts on the right side are a-ok.
The other four bolts actually have no hex head on them, rather they are threaded at both ends. One end is threaded into the differential housing, the other end pokes through the side of the C-beam rails, where a nut is tightened onto it. There are two on each side, the top ones are busted off, the bottom ones are a-ok.
