we have a can..al that runs right through the centre of town > i was getting gas, another car pulls up its, a friend named lorne he asks me to pull my dodge ahead so he can back in to fill up> so i pull ahead > mean time the owner of the gas station and i were in a heated debate over the corn gas he sells > some guy come into the gas station and says HEY there is a dodge van rolling into the can..al > i say whats your point, not mine ,oh my God its mine >ok theres a curb 300 feet away the van will stop on the curb, no> it almost stopped with the front wheels, not >ok it has slowed down ,for sure the back wheels will hang up ,nope > ok theres a light post by the can..al its heading right for the post good ,sure, it just grazes the post and now in on a steep downgrade to the water > the van hits the water like a landing craft and FLOATS out 60 70 feet the like the titanic she goes down by the head >there a stiff current in the can..al ,the dodge has also moved down stream 200 feet > we have a marine police unit in town cause of the boat trafic i called them > also came fire and rescue ,envoirment , every elected official, half the town is there,and of course all the local news papers > 600 bucks s later the divers have pulled it out > the van is a write off water damage and my wet van is on the front page of all the local rags with a caption "so you think you having a bad day"
