I know what your saying but this truck is just a weekend project that I will drive qutie a bit. I have to weigh what the end value of the truck will be and in this case not much. D300s just dont command big prices even when refurbished or restored. I screwed up when I didn't buy a 72 D300 with a mint 9 foot box that even had mint wood in it for 2K! I will be in this bed that much easy by the time I am done.
