I got ya, an you mayno the answer to this better than i but I have found no evidence that dodge ever offered an NP540 with overdrive. Every book Ihave seen shows them all to be direct. But, the latest book I looked in was I think 67. If there was a way to run the GM trans easily we could all be running 5 speeds! I looked around and the GMs versions are plentiful. Anoyone want to build a custom input shaft?
