There are some excellant posts by others at the bottom of the page re: old tires. I bought some brand new (never been mounted, still had the nipples on them) michelin XL 20x12.5 for my bobbed duece and had a sidewall blow-out after driving a 150 miles at 55mph. These tires should be fine for a trail rig only, but I would use caution for highway driving. YMMV
