Maybe that is the biggest difference between Canadians and Americans. We have learned too laugh at ourselves in Canada because of our precarious hold on our true North strong and free. No wonder so many great comedians come from this country. The Brits are very much in the same boat since losing control of the world. lol.
It makes life so much easier when you don't have too look after the whole world.
