1 1/2 to 3 1/2 thousandths for oil clearances.
Ring to cylinder clearance is still ZERO.
But they do run hotter, and at higher rpms.
But then,oils have gotten lots better too.
And twice as many oil changes is twice as many 'dry start ups' to cause premature wear.
Every 10,000 miles, whether I need it or not. Or 20,000.
