I hated pulling weeds when I was a kid, prefered fishing and being in the woods. She said I couln't leave until the weeding was done in the bean patch, so I mowed them instead. I was about 8 or 9 at the time, but I still recall that as the beating of the century. There was probably only one other that could have come close, but I'll save that one for another post.
