We know about the 544 on the registry and some of those are in junkyards. So that leaves maybe another 500? Who knows but the cost of restoring is rising. So if you want a pristine FFPW you either do it yourself for $$$? or buy one already finished. Some people haven't the ability or time to do their own. If you want one bad enough you will pay big bucks either way. I bought mine about 9 years ago for $14,000 and don't regret it for a second. I'm sure there are those that would say I paid too much but it only matters to me.
