That's very true but there's a big difference between nice perfect. A #2 condition truck, which is likely what you'd have considered my blue truck when I finished it, with the original Budd wheels, would have been considered, sells for 1/2 of what a #1 restoration sells for.
Most guys on this forum can't distinguish the difference, or appreciate the difference but it will cost you double the labor to complete such a truck. I've seen this truck as well & it is outstanding.
I talked with Jim yesterday...the fellow that bought my blue WDX. She's coming back to SoCal!
